GEA educational project ‘Ideas for the future’
The GEA educational project started is part of the UN 2030 Agenda system and aims, together with the new generations, to look into issues related to sustainable development, waste management and waste reduction and focussed generally on climate change. The course, which can be certified by schools for PCTO purpose (Path for Transversal Skills and Orientation), is spread over three school cycles and enables students to learn about the dynamics of the working world and those of the “new” green professions. The first edition was attended by 82 classes from 27 schools in 13 regions with a total of 2050 students involved; they will use the materials available to help create a “sustainability culture”, fundamental for tomorrow’s citizens.
