GEA Special on the ‘Milan-Cortina Olympics
GEA Specials continue. Each week, two in-depth articles written by editors in Turin, Milan, Rome, Verona and Brussels are published on sustainability, the circular economy and the environment. Wednesday 22 June was the turn of the Milan-Cortina Olympics Special. In addition to the main article on the greenest Games in history, written by editor Vittorio Oreggia, the in-depth coverage included important contributions from illustrious personalities involved in organising the Olympics. These include interviews with Coni president Giovanni Malagò and the governors of Lombardy, Attilio Fontana, and Veneto, Luca Zaia. Not forgetting the positions of the environmentalists of Mountain Wilderness Italy. A team effort that involved all the editorial offices and demonstrates how unity means strength.
