The new European approach to health and the consequences for the Italian system

To discuss the current scenario and perspectives in the health field at Italian and European level; promoting exchange and discussion between leading representatives of national and EU institutions and experts, sector operators, professional organisations and stakeholders.

The event, which took place in Rome at the Europa Experience – David Sassoli on 13 April 2023, addressed topics such as: wellness and nutrition to prevent diseases; redefinition, at a European level, of the rules in the pharmaceutical field; safety guarantees in the supply of medicinal products; and speeding up response times in emergencies. The topics followed each other through three discussion panels. Speakers at the event included: Michele Carruba, Unimi, President of the Centre for Studies and Research on Obesity; Giovanni Malagò, President of CONI; Silvio Brusaferro, President of the Istituto Superiore di Sanità; Maria Angela Danzì, MEP, ENVI and SANT Commissions; Nino Cartabellotta, President of the Gimbe Foundation.
